The Weekly Quiz
Was it Worth it?
Please look at the image and articulate your thoughts. Thoughts should be backed up by Ayah from the Quran and/or Hadiths of the Prophet PBUH. Al-Qaqa Ibn Antar, widely referred to as the "Spider-Man of Yemen," was a 30-year-old Yemeni adventurer who died on June 12, 2026. He fell to his death while free solo climbing (without any equipment) the steep walls of the Hardah Dam volcanic crater in Yemen's southern Dhale province. Are dangerous experiences like this worth it if you may lose your life? Why would you ever willingly choose to climb a mountain without safety equipment? Will Al-Qaqa Ibn Antar be judged as if he killed himself? Whose fault is his death? How do you balance taking risks and being cautious? Where do you draw the line? All thoughts are welcome!
