Miss Fajr? Goodbye Gaming PC
Please look at the video and articulate your thoughts. Thoughts should be backed up by Ayah from the Quran and/or Hadiths of the Prophet PBUH. Original video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbBbWg2D-Xj/ The video shows a boy who missed Fajr Salah because he stayed up late playing games. So as punishment, his father put his PC up for sale. The boy was begging his father not to sell his PC. The father said, حىّ على الصّلوة، حىّ على الصّلوة، حيّ على الفلاح، حىّ على الفلاح (Come to prayer, Come to prayer, Come to success, Come to success). And he sold his PC. Do you think the father made the right decision? Do you think it is okay if this was his first time missing Fajr? Some people are saying in this day and age, the boy will grow to hate Islam rather than love it. Do you think this is true? How would you teach your child? Would you even punish them? All thoughts are welcome!
